How will 2024 go down in history? - On Target https://legacyarmory.com/community/general-discussion/how-will-2024-go-down-in-history/ Legacy Armory Discussion Board en-US Wed, 10 Jun 2026 02:33:38 +0000 wpForo 60 How will 2024 go down in history? https://legacyarmory.com/community/general-discussion/how-will-2024-go-down-in-history/#post-1226 Tue, 31 Dec 2024 20:33:11 +0000 As 2024 comes to a close, put the year into context.  Certainly, it will go down as one of the most memorable in American political history due to the craziness of the election (Biden dropping out, Kamala coming in, Trump assassination attempt(s), Trump's resounding victory).  However, things calmed down in other respects.  War with Iran did not commence, the Ukraine-Russia war did not accelerate, and no new pandemics/lockdowns were attempted. 

Still, it seems like the chaos that we avoided in 2024 could simply be pushed back to 2025.  Or, does Trump's election victory signal that good changes to the global order are in store?
