Medical examiner: Baldwin shooting ruled "an accident"

<![CDATA[Yesterday, we discussed the vague report from the FBI which concluded that actor Alec Baldwin "must have" pulled the trigger when he shot and killed Halyna Hutchins on the set of his now canceled movie "Rust." The publicly released details of the report left a number of important questions unanswered. But last night, the Office of the Medical Investigator which has been investigating the incident followed up with their own report. They have concluded that the shooting was accidental in nature and they also included additional details that were missing from the earlier update. One of the key items was the fact that the FBI had indeed tested the same weapon that Baldwin used in the shooting and found that it was fully functional until it broke during the extensive testing process. Iran submits "written response" to nuclear deal

<![CDATA[Yesterday was the latest "deadline" in the negotiations over the stalled Iran nuclear deal. It's not as if anyone has paid any serious attention to all of these deadlines, but the European Union has been hosting the negotiations so they wanted to make it look official. Iran apparently took the idea seriously enough to provide a "written response" to the package that is allegedly on the table at this point. But as the Associated Press points out, the written response was really no response at all. Iran agreed to nothing and made vague references to the United States needing to be more "realistic" in its expectations, while still demanding that sanctions against their country be lifted. Now we're waiting to see if the Biden administration will cave entirely and give Iran anything it wants in exchange for chalking up another political "win."]]>
