Today we are looking at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF) recently-released “ National Firearms Commerce and Trafficking Assessment (NFCTA): Protecting America from Trafficked Firearms - Volume Four. ” This report has all sorts of information about the firearm industry, but it also contains interesting data about the American silencer industry.

Česká zbrojovka, aka CZ recently launched the redesigned P-09 and P-07 pistols, which now go by the designation P-09 F Nocturne (full size) and P-09 C Nocturne (compact size) that includes a number of cosmetic and functional upgrades. Both the F and C versions have the same internal parts and operation as their predecessors, but today we’ll focus on the CZ P-09 C Nocturne, in which we’ll take a look at each upgrade and how it also relates to concealed carry. Let’s Czech it out (sorry, I had to).
POTD: The STRIBOG SP10 - The 10mm Auto PCC

As with all 10mm Auto firearms (it seems) this is the long-awaited Stribog SP10. There is also a version in .45 ACP. These firearms use a roller-delayed blowback system to manage recoil effectively, even with 10mm. They feed from polymer magazines (UMP-patterned magazines) and are built for reliability. Great for those who want to go for a major caliber in their next PCC match!

Serious shotgunners know what a “B-Gun” is. It’s a Benelli, or a Browning, or a Beretta. A B-Gun is high-quality, built to last a lifetime and beyond. I’m here to tell you that there’s another B-Gun brand out there that people are sleeping on. Over the years I’ve owned and used several Baikal shotguns and one of their rifles. I have found them to be sturdy and almost bombproof, far outperforming their low price tag. And maybe, just maybe, they’ll be available again in North America soon.
