You mean something like this?

Ridiculously hideous in appearance, but probably quite effective.  I suppose they have their place, but I personally would never use one.

Even if Trump were to be revealed as the Dark Lord of the Sith, he's still better than the last four presidents we've had.

I think, but the example I saw like the Flux Raider looked like a regular handgun with a kit that included a stock.  I assume the point is much greater control in a way that is far more portable than a rifle.
