Well we're little more than two months from the election, and if you listen to the polls, we should expect President Kamala Harris in office by January 2025.
I really can't tell what will happen at this point, but if the Democrats do win, will it be one of the most incredible turnarounds of a political campaign ever? Well, yes and no. On one hand, they made the switch only about three-and-a-half months before the election, which is amazing. However, on the other hand, American elections aren't exactly "fair" anymore. The media effectively helped push Biden out of the race before anointing Harris, who bypassed the normal open primary process.
Oh, and isn't it strange how everyone was so concerned with Biden's mental state and fitness for office back in July, but once he dropped out of the race, we're ok with just leaving him in there?
So we had Trump assassination attempt #2 a few days ago. Not quite as close as #1, but it does get you wondering. What's also noteworthy is that the left seems so intent at opposing Trump that they're basically blaming Trump for his "rhetoric", even though he's the one who could have been killed.
Less than 30 days left. What will happen? Harris still leads in the national polls.
I've been watching a Youtube channel by pollster Rasmussen. It's pretty interesting. The guy basically says that a lot of the major pollsters are providing false numbers, and he thinks that Trump basically has the election in the bag already.
Trump is going to take Pennsylvania and maybe Michigan or Wisconsin too. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't win Nevada as well plus all of the states he won before. The polls are outright bogus. Trump just got 100,000 people at a rally. Kamala couldn't do that if she were an act at Lollapalooza lol.

Well, it's October 14 and I think early voting starts tomorrow. Harris is still up by about 1.7% according to poll averages, but everything I hear suggests that the momentum is trending toward Trump. I just hope that MAGA nation doesn't let its guard down and become complacent. I also hope there's no October Surprise that hurts Trump.
Now we're two weeks out. According to the polling average at Real Clear Politics, Harris is up by 0.9% vs. Trump. What's interesting, though, is that this average takes into account about a dozen polls that were conducted throughout October. The ones earlier in the month favored Harris, but the ones later in the month have been favoring Trump.
I'm hopefully optimistic, but I remember what happened in 2020.
I won't believe Trump has won until he is inaugurated. It might come down to Pennsylvania, and Harris operatives will make sure enough votes are manufactured to secure the win.

Trump has a national mandate to do the things he said he would do. The Deep State is in panic mode as its bureaucratic tentacles will be dismantled in favor of an America first agenda. I don't think Trump will go on a revenge tour, but lots of people are going to be fired from their positions. Trump's transition team is much more prepared than they were the first go around.

So Kari Lake lost her Senate race, but Republicans still have a 53-46 majority. Also leading 212-203 in the House races, and by my count have a great chance of getting another seven seats, and possibly a handful of seats beyond that.
I wanted to talk about where Trump's victory ranks in the history of greatest American political comebacks, because it has to be really near the top, if not at the top. In fact, if we go through history, this might be on par with some of the greatest political comebacks in world history. When you think of how much he battled against during his presidency, the impeachments, the post-J6 response, multiple prosecutions, assassination attempts, fighting against the political and media machine...it's all quite astonishing. Not as surprising to me as his win in 2016, but in a sense the victory was even larger in 2024.
