And this doesn't even include the country of Brazil banning Twitter, or the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Du Rove.
It just amazes me how in my lifetime I have seen the American left move from a passionate love of free expression to a position of "censorship is good". My guess is that this change has followed the transformation of cultural values of America. In other words, the left loved free speech when their cultural values were in the minority, but now that they're in the majority, they are fine with censorship because they understand it serves their ends.
FORUM RULES
- No posts that incite violence or promotes hatred will be tolerated. Critics of gun enthusiasts always try to paint us as violent xenophobic racists. Nothing of the kind will be found here.
