None of those are rockers.  They are pop stars.

What?  You have Joni Mitchell on that list.  You have Debbie Harry on the list.  You also going to put her on the list of "top female rappers" (since some claim she did the first "rap")?

Seems like the definition you're using for "rocker" is a bit, ahem, "debatable".... 🤔

Debbie Harry was New Wave, but she rocked.  As for Joni Mitchell, okay we can kick her off the list and replace her with Lita Ford. 🧐

You kind of highlighted the dearth of female rockers in this thread.  Even Tina Turner - a rocker?  Didn't she start out under Mowtown?  Her later solo hits seem sort of "pop-ish" in a way....starting wonder whether we should add Whitney Houston to the conversation as well.... 😆
