I cringe when I read articles like these. However, it is becoming ever more convincing that governments and media want people to become desensitized to UFO phenomenon to the point that we will eventually all accept it when "aliens" are finally "revealed" to us. This I call soft disclosure that incrementally introduces more and more "evidence" building the narrative we have never been alone in the universe. My question is, and I think I already know the answer, is what is the real agenda behind UFO soft disclosure?

That's a reasonably theory. I think the "real agenda" could only be one thing - to prevent mass chaos and breakdown of the civil order if it came all at once, without the "soft reveals". Perhaps there has been a new development in the last 5 years or so (since these soft reveals started to become more commonplace) which has accelerated the government's actions.

Could it be that the "new development" is that the U.S. recognized that aliens would make First Contact very soon, and that they therefore should push whatever political policies as a result? If politicians at the top realized years ago that everything would change after First Contact, perhaps they decided to stop giving a crap and just push whatever they wanted. This might help to explain why the left took such a radical turn within the last five years or so.

This whole thing is odd for a few reasons:
1) The Chinese balloon story happened just days before the "UFOs" getting shot down
2) The Biden Admin is trying to tell us these were kind of like UFOs, but at the same time they were taken out with something like sidewinder missiles
3) We can't exactly trust anything coming out of the Biden Admin's mouth
My working theory is that this is likely some kind of distraction pushed by the Biden Administration that both diverts attention away from other matters, while also making Biden look "good" for shooting things down after he looked inept for letting the Chinese balloon float all the way across our nation. Also, insinuating these were "UFOs" allows for a cover story that sharing too much information with the public cannot be done because it's "classified".
At the end of the day, just ask yourself if the U.S. would likely to shoot first, ask questions later if this was an actual alien spaceship. Then ask yourself whether a craft capable of intergalactic travel would be easily taken out by early-21st century American tech.
Smells like a ruse to me.

It is definitely odd that we've been hearing an increase in UFO content by government officials. At the same time, we have never heard anything concrete that confirms any of our suspicions.
Hard to know what to think, and it's also hard to know what kind of strategy the government is taking if they have secretly confirmed the presence of intelligent alien life.
