I always liked the look of the Ruger Mini-14 as used in the A-Team back in the 1980s. It just has a sleeker more elegant look to it than your ordinary AR-15 which has long since replaced the Mini-14 in popularity and capability. Of course the AK-47 will always be king, but in terms of "looking the part of cool semi-auto rifle" the Mini-14 still looks the part.
Even if Trump were to be revealed as the Dark Lord of the Sith, he's still better than the last four presidents we've had.
