Wow. Came home this afternoon and heard that he was shot, and the video looked bad. Then came the news that he was dead. What a tragedy. He was such an important voice for the conservative movement, and he was credited as being a significant part of Trump's election win in 2024. This is just crazy. May he rest in peace.
I have never been both sad and angry at the same time until this tragedy occurred. I know several people now who will no longer keep quiet around the liberals they know. They told me they didn't care if they lost their jobs because they have had it with the Left. I fear someone on our side will try to even the score by killing a spokesperson for the Left. We are in dangerous times in America.

It's been a few days now, and it's been surreal to process what happened. It's now sinking in. I realize there are a lot of things over the years that could be labeled "turning points" (no pun intended) in the way we think of politics, but I think that an actual assassination of a high-profile commentator really does change things. He wasn't exactly inflammatory, but he was massively successful. And they took him out.
Almost as worse is the revelation of the bloodlust held by many on the left who have been celebrating his death. This would have been almost unheard of, say, in the 1990s. The fact that so many on the left are now ok with the murder of a regular conservative is kind of mind-blowing.
