Apparently there's a proposal being made to turn California into two states - one for the left, and the other for the right. Would this be a good idea? I think it would greatly help the right, so yes.

That's a good point. However, would that be geographically feasible for Texas? Besides Austin, I'm not familiar with the regions there which are hotbeds of leftism (I should probably know since I lived in the state, lol). California, to my understanding, is more clear-cut in its physical right/left divide.
The only thing I'm not entirely on board with is the name. They floated the name "Inland California" for the second state. Really? Is that the extent of the right's creativity?
