So the results are in, and the GOP did not enjoy the massive wave that some were predicting. Still, they did win quite a few key races, and took back power in the House of Representatives.
I am the kind of person who gets annoyed by people who are overly confident in their predictions with events that are not very predictable. With that in mind, people claiming a "red tsunami" were engaging in wishful thinking.
In the end, it was still a victory if only because the GOP is able to stop the Biden from forcing any more disasters on the country. House hearings can now commence into important matters and I believe non-important ones (like the J6 theater) can be ended. Sure, it will be even better if the GOP can take the Senate, but we'll have to wait and see until the remaining elections are finished.
That's the silver lining - Dr. Oz would have been a RINO, I'm pretty sure. He'd have been like Romney-Lite. Yes, it would have been good to have his vote, but we'd be battling against him anyway if he got in. Still kind of hard to believe he lost to Fetterman, though. Simply kind of hard to believe, tbh.
