Even if Trump were to be revealed as the Dark Lord of the Sith, he's still better than the last four presidents we've had.

So in other words, looks like the U.S. is getting its own digital currency.

Speaking of, any of you into crypto?  I had been thinking of getting into it after talking with family last Christmas, but never bought any.  I had been eyeing Ethereum.  Now I see it's around 30% of the value it was at that time.

I would avoid it right now.  It is in free fall.

@donaldbaker Agreed that it's dangerous to try to catch a falling knife.  However, unless you think that something like Bitcoin will lose value forever, this sounds like a great buying opportunity.

In other words, if you believe in Bitcoin in principle, you're looking at a product at a nice discount right now.

I'd rather invest in tangible assets like precious metals, properties, and guns.

Unless you're talking about antique guns, my guess is you're investing in some of those based on scarcity in case of a zombie-apocalypse-like event, which case their value would skyrocket.  However, there's a very small chance that would happen in the next few decades (even if the chance has increased lately).

However, if we assume a transition to a digital economy in the future, wouldn't crypto still be worth it?

By the way, have you heard of Michael Saylor?

No I haven't heard of him.
