Even if Trump were to be revealed as the Dark Lord of the Sith, he's still better than the last four presidents we've had.
So I think it's clear he's keeping the price of gas high in order to push the Green New Deal through in an extra-legislative, round-about way. The Russia-Ukraine War provided the pretext for the rise in prices, but most everyone recognizes the charade that is going on.
I would think this would be an impeachable offense in itself. He's willing to sacrifice the American economy for the sake of the golden calf of the left, which seems vastly worse than what Trump did in his phone call with Zelensky.
What isn't clear is what else he might be planning. Is it only for purposes of climate change? Or is this the big one - the grasp at utterly remaking the economy into a Communist system?
