So I think there was a post on here that got deleted during the database wipe of 2021, but I believe the idea was floated that Donovan Mitchell would eventually be one of the top players in the NBA. I disagreed then and I still disagree (there are too many other great players before him), but I just wanted to put this out there:
That's because you follow college basketball, and Wembanyama came from the French basketball circuit. 😊 I guess we have just identified a gaping hole in your basketball knowledge.
I didn't even know the French played basketball lol. We'll see how good he is. The game is changing more toward European style players so his chances of being the next "Lebron" might not be good since Lebron is an Isolation player rather than a Euro style finesse player.
Even if Trump were to be revealed as the Dark Lord of the Sith, he's still better than the last four presidents we've had.
So Wembanyama had a pretty good rookie season. He also led the league in blocks, and it wasn't even close.
