Got a question.  Is stacking players from the same team a good idea?  For example, this week I am stacking Josh Allen with Khalil Shakir.  My hope is that Allen will throw a couple of TD passes to Shakir so I can double up the points.  Is this really a point doubling or is it a fallacy?

Even if Trump were to be revealed as the Dark Lord of the Sith, he's still better than the last four presidents we've had.

Mathematically, I think it would neither help nor hurt you if you stack two players from the same team.  The only thing it changes is the risk/reward potential in any game.  Put in another way, if instead you started two players of similar rank to Allen and Shakir, but from different teams, they would produce the same fantasy averages over a season as Allen and Shakir.  However, the standard deviation of scores for Allen/Shakir would be higher.

The only thing I'd worry about is that Miami gives up the second-least points to WRs, and gives up the least amount of points to QBs.

I have Brian Thomas Jr available.  Would that be a better start?  My backup is Brock Purdy who is on bye.

I would say that's kind of a toss-up.  I'd probably just stick with Shakir and hope he has a good game.

I was able to squeak out a victory this week despite Shakir only giving me 11 points and Drake London going down with a hip injury (but not before getting a TD reception for me).  Allen had other options he liked better apparently.  I still have Travis Kelce for tonight to pad my margin of victory and help in overall points standings.  If I can get 140 points this week, it will be the fourth week in a row I have been able to get that many.

My lineup is:

Josh Allen - QB

Devan Achane - RB

Kenneth Walker III - RB

Jahmyr Gibbs - RB

Drake London - WR

Khalil Shakir - WR

Travis Kelce - TE

Ka'imi Fairbairn - K

New Orleans - Defense
