Now that Trump has been indicted and arraigned, it's appearing that the underlying case brought by Alvin Bragg is really thin.  Apparently, the entire case against Trump rests on some unnamed underlying mystery "crime" and rests on the testimony of Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen.  What, then, is the point of all this?  Is it to intentionally drag this out into next year's election season as a distraction?

It's called election interference.  They want Trump focused on his legal battles so he cannot campaign effectively.  They hope it will undermine his credibility as a candidate (and to many gullible sheep it probably will work).

But it will certainly have the effect of driving more sympathy to Trump and validate his larger claim that it's him against the system.  Plus, if the case is dismissed while it's ongoing, it serves as a victory for Trump.

My theory is that they're going to try to swarm Trump now with legal attacks by trying to indict him in Fulton County over "election interference", as well as over the Mar-A-Lago document raid issue.  If he's dragged down by cases on all three sides, it really will cause him a lot of troubles going into 2024, and the Dems will paint a picture of guilt-by-implication.

The good news is most Americans see all of this for what it is...the weaponization of the legal system to destroy political opposition.  Trump should benefit from this witch hunt, but we know the Dems will fabricate votes wherever and however they have to in order to keep Orange Man Bad from regaining power.
